Check out our most recent paper on ChemRxiv to read about tuning the material properties of isotactic poly(vinyl ether)s through copolymerization. Important thermal parameters (Tg & Tm) can be easily modulated through the stereoselective copolymerization of vinyl ether monomers with disparate homopolymer properties using our chiral anion-mediated methodology. Functional comonomers can also be incorporated without sacrificing isotacticity, enabling access to a multitude of new vinyl ether-based thermoplastics.
